FAQS
On a flat, smooth surface CLEAN indoor wall, our wall murals will last for years! We do not recommend installing on textured walls, vinyl based walls or eggshell painted textures walls. Dust and moisture are the two main culprits for preventing adhesion. The walls will need to be free of dust, cobwebs, or any other residue that may accumulate on walls or the paper will not stick.
Outside of plain brick, the only surface that we have seen work against the adhesive is the combination of eggshell paint on a textured surface. Our recommendation is to NOT install on textured walls.
DO NOT install Peel and Stick on paints that are stain-resistant or washable. Other paints to avoid installing on are Low or No VOV paints, easy to clean, washable or scrubbable paint.
It is very important that you allow at least 30 days concerning a newly paint surface to dry. Bubbles can occur if the paint is not dry. Also make sure all drywall painted surfaces or a repainted surface have been primed and painted in order to not leave possible residue or peel paint upon removal.
Absolutely! You can use your peel and stick wallpaper on all types of doors, glass, ceilings, poles, windows, furniture, home appliances, tiles, mirrors, etc. It can be easily places on almost any flat surface. It should not cause any damage when removed, but if for some reason it does, please note that The Wallpaper Queen LLC. is not responsible.
The Wallpaper Queen LLC preps and primes all wall surfaces before installation. However, since we cannot guarantee the condition of all wall surfaces, some paint flecking may occur. You may notice paint flecks on the back of your paper when removed. The Wallpaper Queen LLC. is not responsible for any damage or paint touch-up that may be required after removal.
We know walls come in all shapes and sizes, its one of the reasons we love them! For tips on measuring different wall types, scroll through the sketches below.
When there is a door, window, or other obstacle on your wall, only measure the total width and height of the wall, as the obstacle will simply be cut away during hanging.
Simply Measure the full height and width of the wall. Don't forget to double check your measurements before ordering. Only measure the dimensions of the surface you wish to cover excluding the baseboards or coving.
When you have a sloped ceiling or wall, measure the longest and widest parts only, ignoring any slopes. The slope is cut away during installation.
If your wall has two slants, simply identify and measure the longest part of the wall in both the width and the height. The cutaways take place during installation.
